Billy Strings – frog symphony

While listening to Billy’s music, I had this vision of the bayou and all the sounds that emanate from it. The constant whir of crickets, birds, cicadas, running water and of course singing frogs. I lived in east Texas during some of my most formative years and those sounds are so familiar to me. I imagined this idea that the frogs sing so beautifully that ENORMOUS firework like bursts erupt from their vocal sacs and fully BLOOM from their sound into the night sky. Illuminating everything around them.
