Primus – Tommy The Cat

I’ve listened to Primus since I was wee lad in middle school.  I first discovered them when my friend Owen Taylor recorded a bootleg cassette with handmade liner notes for Sailing the Seas of Cheese for my 11th birthday.  Their lyrics conjured up so many lushly illustrated visions in my adolescent brain but none more strongly than the track Tommy The Cat.  I tried to pour all of that dizzying psychedelic acid trip feel mixed with Les’s humor into this one.  Also, aren’t cats great? I sure like drawing them.
