Heart of Darkness – G1988

18 x 24 – 4 color silkscreen – S/N edition of 125 – The print was commissioned for G1988’s “required reading” show based on artist’s re-imaginings of classic novels. I wanted my piece to reflect the duality of human nature that is ever present in the novel, thus the stylized yin yang. I can’t read this book without thinking of the film Apocalypse Now, which was based on this novel – and therefore I wanted an image that could represent both.
