311 – NYE – gold mirror to 60

Symbolically this print has two meanings. One representing the end of 2017, marked by the band’s New Year’s Eve performance in the sands of Arizona. The deeper meaning centers around the current movement that has started to take down our misogynist culture. This past year we’ve witnessed many longtime kings of male Patriarchy have their time run out. The bottom half of the print features female lions circling the hourglass as the king’s reign is ending.
