Billy Strings SET of two – wolf odyssey

This is for a set of 2 18×24 inch posters. Matching numbers. Each are numbered to 50 copies.

This one went through several iterations before I got the final elements right. The art is meant to represent the journey one goes through while listening to an epic 4 hour Billy Strings live marathon. The night begins and all of us wolves stand stoic and wide-eyed in the crowd. We patiently wait for the band to hit the stage. The lights dim, and the first note is played, and like clipper ship skimming the waves of the earth we’re off, setting forth on an odyssey of vibrations and sounds. By the end of the night it feels like a transformation has happened to all of us. The wolves howl at the moon. What was once a modest cardinal has now gleaned the wisdom of an ancient owl.
