Les Claypools Flying Frog Brigade

My kids are at the age where they’re learning about the three branches of government and each of their functions. It made me reminisce about my time as a kid learning about government which can be distilled down to the Schoolhouse Rock – ‘I’m Just a Bill’ tune. Those cartoon images are what really stuck in my impressionable young mind growing up! With that in mind I made art for Les and company that represents the three branches of government. From left to right we have the: Judicial, Executive and Legislative. And my guess is that no matter which side of the aisle you’re on we can probably agree that there are a number of pigs, frogs and apes in Congress. And of course a flying toad puppet master pulling the strings.
